Meet the patootie family. There’s Mommy Glency, Daddy Moses and of course, the cutest patootie of all Baby Seb.
The day of the shoot started out pretty gloomy. I was woken up with thunderstorms and heavy rain, and the view outside my window forecasts a very rainy saturday. I texted Jo Mai, the friend who referred me to Glency and who will be my ride going to their place, and told her about my concern regarding the weather. I shoot rain or shine when it comes to portraits, couples and all other sessions. But I am pretty apprehensive when it involves kids, especially babies. We both sent Glency some SMS, but she was still sound asleep by then… and who could blame her, it was a snuggle-in-bed kind of day.
I said a prayer, and asked God if I could borrow a bit of sunshine for the day, as I have 3 (gulp!) family shoots in line. And because (lakas ko ni God, haha) prayers do work, the dark clouds parted and out came Mr.Sun happily shining his glory.
And to cut the not so long story short, we did the shoot in their lovely home. And I fell in love with Seb at first sight. And I am very much glad to note, that he is the only baby I shot that didn’t pee on me! Atta Boy Baby Seb!
