When Ria dear (who also only has good words for Dee) told me she will arrange for Dee to do the engagement shoot as a wedding gift for me and Marlon, I couldn’t contain my excitement. I knew we’re up for something really beautiful!  I discussed with Dee the concept, the feel and the mood that I wanted to go for, and voila! She gave us that.

When the day of the shoot came, it was all light and fun.. Exactly what i hoped for.And the resulting photos.. Amazing! I just love them all.

Before I got married, I always had this idea of having a boudoir photoshoot done —out of curiousity and  to surprise my fiancé…and maybe so that I also have something to keep with me when I get old.

It was just always an idea, but I never had the guts to really have it done for one main reason- fear.

Fear that I would be totally uncomfortable during the shoot; fear that the photos might turn up too sleazy and not the effect I wanted; fear that I might get conscious all along knowing that I will be spending hours in my lingerie with a photographer I didn’t even know.

It was a stroke of luck when I found Dee. It was all in good timing and out of faith, that I finally agreed and let myself into that shoot. To be honest, I was still hesitant until a few hours before our shoot. I wanted to just cancel the whole thing as I was, at that time, still scared. Good thing I didn’t, because the moment I saw Dee, I immediately felt relaxed.  She has this bubbly attitude that would make a first-time-amateur-poser-client just so comfortable.

Dee’s style in pictures is all about being natural and being true to oneself. She would guide you and help you with what to do, but would not totally overpower and make you pose like a stiff mannequin.

Dee also has this incredible way of playing with natural lighting and her creativity is just overflowing. She can see the little details and she can make a messy living room and an empty bedroom into a great studio.

Our boudoir turned out into such an amazing bonding session. We were laughing and it really felt like I have a friend taking pictures of me. There are a lot of photographers out there, but a boudoir photographer is something else. For me, Dee is the perfect boudoir photographer because during the whole shoot, she would let you just be…YOU.

In the end, we had a memorable session; I have a set of amazing pictures that I will always be proud of; and I gained not only a photographer who I can always trust, but also a friend.

We were so excited for this shoot as we already  know how good the quality of photos that Dee can create. Just like when we had our first engagement shoot with her…

We chose the same venue where we had our prewedding shots.
A memorable place where we left our hearts during those days.
Everything was flashing back when we got there. Our sweet memories was crystal clear and vivid!

And this time, we’re gonna be having a family portrait. It’s important for us to document milestones in our growing family. A new budding family portrait, with the  little guy with us.

Eventhough we knew her being a genius with a brilliant talent, still we get surprised.I know it could be a little more tricky to have a photoshoot with little ones, but it went so well. Under the big tree, with the beautiful scenery, and with just natural light… it made us so comfortable and we had so much fun throughout the shoot.

She knows exactly what we want. I love her style,
the color,the lighting. Light and mellow. It’s as if you
could feel the textures from her photographs.
Another thing that amazed us was that Dee already
had a thought of where to put this little one. So he
would be able to do his moves and create his own poses..
and it went really natural and she was able to get some
funny candid photos.

 

Everything that day was so smooth,warm and relaxed. Most exciting part is when you received the photos of course!  And, yes, it’s another set of amazing photos that brings joy to us. Wonderful photos for a lifetime.

We just wanted to share our story with Souldeelight Photography… here it goes 🙂
We’ve known Dee through our dearest friend Rachel,
and we are so grateful for that. On the day we met Dee, we’re almost running out of time on our wedding prep. We urgently need a  “save the date” to let people know that we are getting married very very soon!

Thankfully Souldeelight Photography covers
engagement and wedding shoots.

So we checked out Dee’s website and looking through,
the photos were  undeniably awesome!

We never had second thoughts of asking Souldeelight’s
expertise to take our prewedding photos. Despite our
very busy schedule, Dee was patiently adjusting our
appointments. But we’re so glad that everything turned
up well. She never failed us.

Hi Dee!

Here’s a little review of our experience with Souldeelight:
Searching for photographers for my little man’s first birthday photoshoot,
I chanced upon Dee’s work in babyandbreakfast.ph. What a blessing it was!
We were apprehensive clients with zero knowledge on posing in portraits or what not.
But Dee simply has a gift of making you let go of your inhibitions, just be who you are,
and celebrate it before the magic of her lens.
Our little man had a grand time.
The photos turned out to be all natural
and truly delightful.
Needless to say, we are happy clients.
